These multi-lingual ‘danger’ signs are famous. They’re everywhere. I had to have a photo of one.
But I would like to draw your attention to the sign on the right.
It’s a sign displaying an arrow… with instructions in words in case you don’t know what to do when you see an arrow.
The sign on the left says the same thing four times because it’s using four different languages. The sign on the right says the same thing twice—for no good reason.
Don’t be like that sign. Give your readers some credit.
